CarTags are made of the same materials the big three auto makers use... injection molded plastic, which is chrome foil plated and triple coated with lacquerto stand up to the elements and car washings.
How long will they last?
With normal care, each tag may last longer than the vehicle it's mounted to.How do they attach?
With peel and stick neoprene automotive-type adhesive tape, or if you wish we will affix a magnetic strip at no extra charge. However, we cannot guarantee how well the magnetic strip will adhere in your application. From personal experience it won't survive an automatic car wash.Will it harm paint and how do I remove?
There is nothing in the adhesive strip which will cause damage to your car's finish. Tag may be removed with the aid of a hair dryer to soften adhesive. Fully soften a section at a time and gently pry up as each section becomessoft. If carefully removed your CarTag may be used again by applying a new adhesive backing.What is the size of the Tags?
Lowercase letters such as a,c,e,n,iare 1" high
Lower case letters such as l,b,t,d,f are 1.25" high
All uppercase letters and numbers are 1.25" high

The maximum length of a CarTag is 18".What letters and characters do you have?
CarTags have a full range of upper and lower case letters, and numbers.
We also have a number of special characters. e.g... ://.-@~%_&!#?( ),'/$£
We also have a number of non-english language characters. e.g... ß üä Ü Ä ö øHow long can the tags be?
Tags are made to the customer's text specifications up to a maximum or 22 letters/numbers.
(Punctuationmarks such as : // / , ' etc. are not counted.) We only count actual letters or numbers. If you need all upper case letters,please limit the number of letters to 19, not including punctuation.Are there discounts for volume?
Yes. Prices vary depending on quantity ordered and text length. Discount prices start at 50 units. Please contact us directly for a quote.Delivery?
Delivery is free world wide with a minimum order of two of any text. For single orders please add $8.50.Why a minimum order of 2 tags to get prepaid shipping?
It is not economical to package and ship a single tag with delivery included. However, the two tag minimum can be of any text combination.
e.g... 1 URL tag and 1 e-mail tag etc..What are you going to try to sell me next?
CarTags does not have secondary "bounce back" products, and we don't sell our clientlist!Are CarTags a good value for my advertising dollar?
CarTags are one of the world's great advertising bargains. Dollar for dollar there is no more effective, or cost effective form of advertising.
CarTags retail at US $39.95 ea. We assume the average person holds their car in service for three years. We calculated that the amortized cost of having a CarTag on a car over three years is about 3.6 cents per day. If the vehicle is driven in daily rush hour traffic the tag may be seen hundreds,if not thousands of times every day at a fraction of a penny per impression.The cost declines dramatically if the owner holds his car in service for longer than 3 years or if the tag is reused on your next car. With care, CarTags will easily last for 7 to 8 years in outdoor use. Properly cared for indoors they'll practically last forever.
